Morning Message

Morning Message

We use the Morning Message as a tool in which to discuss what has been going on in the class or what is upcoming. It opens the door for ample vocabulary discussions and interactions. The students have been doing a grand job reading and responding to the morning message when prompted.

Top Dog Word of the Week

CRE's Mrs. Mulder shares our Top Dog Word of the Week. She provides the meaning of the word and gives the students plenty of ways in which to connect to the word. Our first Top Dog Word of the Week is occasion. The students can write a (strong) sentence and then drop it off in the dog bowl - located in our school library. Mrs. Mulder will read through the sentences each week and select students to join her on the morning show.
